協会の活動の一環として足利大学にてシリアに関する講義を実施行いました – Lecture about Syria at Ashikaga University

1月19日、ジャパンブリッジのマフムード・アサアド氏が、協会の活動の一環として足利大学にてシリアに関する講義を実施しました。

本活動は、以下の事業に該当します。

(1) アラビア語および中東文化に関する講義を実施する事業

(2) シリア人と日本人学生の文化交流イベントを実施する事業

当日は、学生16名、大学教員3名、職員が参加しました。

講義では、シリアの地理、言語、気候、人類文明への貢献、食文化、伝統衣装、物語文化であるハカワティについて紹介しました。

学生および教員との双方向的な内容となりました。

On January 19, Mahmoud Asaad from Japan Bridge delivered a lecture on Syria at Ashikaga University as part of the association’s activities.

This event falls under the following programs:

(1) Lectures on the Arabic language and Middle Eastern culture

(2) Cultural exchange activities between Syrians and Japanese students

The event was attended by 16 students, three university professors, and staff members.

The lecture introduced Syria in terms of geography, language, climate, its contribution to human civilization, food, traditional clothing, and the Hakawati (traditional storyteller).

It was conducted in an interactive format with students and faculty.

An Arabic calligraphy session was also held, during which all participants wrote their names in Arabic.

Feedback was collected from attendees after the event.

This activity was implemented with the support of FWEAP, the Asian Welfare Education Foundation.

The Foundation’s representative was Mr. Kawai.
