About Us

Japan Bridge / Rebuilding Hope is a Syrian group comprising doctors, engineers, and Japanese university graduates, who have partnered with several NGOs, including WELGee, Syrian Hands, SSJ, and Bonzuttner to launch a fundraising campaign to support families affected by the earthquake that hit northern Syria and southern Turkey on February 6th, 2023.

Our goal is to build a strong network of support by bringing together as many individuals and groups as possible in order to provide much-needed assistance to families affected by the region's various crises. In line with this goal, Japan Bridge intends to construct a new building with 12 apartments to assist earthquake-affected families.

Each household needs $5,000 (approximately 670,000 yen) to build a new home, and every donation helps. The victims of this tragedy are in desperate need of our assistance, and we believe that this structure will provide much-needed assistance to those who have lost their homes and are now living in tents, facing harsh weather conditions with few resources.

Furthermore, Japan Bridge is committed to providing long-term assistance to affected communities. In the future, we hope to create an earthquake response and training education plan to ensure that families are better prepared for natural disasters in the region. We hope to make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this disaster by collaborating and pooling resources, and to provide them with long-term solutions.

The earthquake caused widespread devastation and loss of life, with over 5,791 people killed and over 10,041 injured. The survivors of this calamitous event are now bearing the additional burden of this terrible disaster. We hope to make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this disaster by collaborating and pooling resources.

Japan Bridge appeals to individuals and organizations to donate directly to the Molham Volunteering Team or through the donation box available at the event. Our commitment to helping those in need is unwavering, and we believe that this event will be a significant milestone toward achieving our goal.

Thank you for considering supporting our cause. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the earthquake in northern Syria and southern Turkey.
