We are pleased to share that Mr. Mohannad Al Yakoub participated as a guest speaker in an educational workshop hosted by the Chuo Junior High School District in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, on August 22, 2024. The session, titled “Educational Support for Students with Foreign Connections,” focused on how schools and communities can enhance their support for students with foreign backgrounds and children from multicultural families.

Mr. Mohannad was invited by the principal and staff of Naimki Elementary School to give a lecture about Syria at his children Ward and Majd's school on the anniversary of the devastating Fukushima earthquake. It was a wonderful experience to him to explain to his children's friends and colleagues about Syria and its diverse culture, the Middle East, sustainable development, CSR, ODA, and the development projects that Japan provides to support developing countries in Africa and Asia.
